In 2017, a couple of decades after my original attempt to watch the entire IMDB Top 250 Movies List, I went back to see how the list had evolved.
Here is a comparison of how the 2000-Top-250 movies fared in 2017.
* Only 126 movies from the 2000 list are still in the 2017 top-250 list
* ‘Logan’ which released on March 3 2017 is already on the list at No. 47 on March 4 2017 !!
* 11 Indian movies in the list in 2017 (up from zero in 2000). A few good movies in there, but whether they should be in the all-time-top-250 is debatable
* The Top-20 in 2000 is a very diverse list. In 2017, the top-20 is mostly sci-fi/thrillers. “12 Angry Men” seems a misfit in this top-20
